What we buy

We buy complete, wearable gold jewelry with a legible hallmark, regardless of brand, age or style:

• Rings and wedding bands — engagement, wedding, signet rings.
• Chains and necklaces, including sets.
• Earrings — in pairs or single (if the other piece is among your jewelry, bring both for valuation together).
• Bracelets and bangles.
• Watches with a gold case or bracelet (the movement and other non-gold parts aren't included in the metal weight).
• Cufflinks, pendants, medallions.

We also accept jewelry set with stones (diamonds, precious and semi-precious stones) — stones are valued separately from the gold weight (see "How we value jewelry with stones" below).

What we don't buy

We don't value gold-plated jewelry (a thin layer of gold on another metal) as gold — its metal value is negligible. Damaged, incomplete jewelry, or jewelry without a legible purity mark, is still valued — but on our separate scrap gold page, where we apply additional purity verification. We don't buy loose stones without a gold setting as part of this service.

How we value jewelry with stones

Stones set in jewelry (diamonds, cubic zirconia, sapphires, rubies, emeralds and others) aren't counted toward the gold weight when valuing the metal — we weigh and value the metal and the stone separately. For larger or clearly valuable stones (e.g., diamonds above 0.1 carat), we assess them visually on-site and, if they have real market value, include it in the offer as a separate line item. This isn't a certified gemological appraisal — if you have a stone certificate (e.g., GIA, IGI), be sure to bring it, as it speeds up and sharpens the assessment. Small, low-value decorative stones usually don't change the valuation — the gold weight is what matters most.

Does the brand affect the price

We value jewelry based on gold weight and purity — regardless of whether it's from a known brand (e.g., Pandora, Tiffany & Co., Cartier) or unbranded. After purchase, jewelry goes on to be melted and refined, where only metal content matters, not the maker's mark. If you care about a piece's collector or designer value, consider selling it through a platform dedicated to vintage or designer jewelry — our offer covers gold value only.

How we price jewelry

Gold jewelry is priced using the same transparent formula as all the gold we buy: Price = weight (g) × purity/1000 × current gold rate (PLN/g per NBP) × our buying coefficient.

Example: you bring a ring weighing 4 g, 585 purity (18-karat gold is usually marked 750 in Poland, but 585 is the more common purity on the Polish market — we'll confirm the exact mark on-site). At a gold rate (purity 1000) of around 520 PLN/g, the pure gold value is 4 × 0.585 × 520 ≈ 1217 PLN. If the ring has a set stone, we'll value it separately as described above.
