Albanian Lek to PLN exchange rate — Warsaw & Kraków

What currency is used in Albania and how much is the lek worth? Albania's currency is the Albanian lek (ALL, lekë). You'll find the live lek to PLN rate (ALL/PLN) right here — the rate you'll actually get in our exchange office, not just the indicative NBP rate. At Valuta.com.pl we buy and sell Albanian leks with no commission and no minimum amount. The calculator below instantly converts leks to PLN — how much 1,000 or 10,000 ALL is in złoty, or how many leks you get for PLN 1,000. Order online to lock the rate for 60 minutes and collect cash in Warsaw (Al. Jerozolimskie 47) or Kraków (Starowiślna 42). We are registered in the NBP currency exchange register.

↙Which Albanian lek rate applies
The buy and sell rate on this page applies both online and at the counter — there's no separate, less favourable rate at the till. This rate doesn't cover low denominations, damaged or written-on banknotes, older series, or coins — you'll get an exact valuation for these on-site.

Buying leks
We accept Albanian lek banknotes of all denominations and series — the condition of each note is assessed by the cashier on site. New and well-preserved banknotes are valued at the full rate; for heavily worn, stained or damaged notes, the valuation may be adjusted individually after inspection. Show your notes at the counter — we'll check them quickly in front of you.
Selling leks
Leks in the main denominations are usually available on the spot at both branches. If you need specific denominations or a larger amount, call ahead — we'll set the cash aside and lock in a rate for you.

Frequently asked questions about Albanian lek exchange
What currency is used in Albania?+
Albania's official currency is the Albanian lek (code ALL, lekë). Albania is not in the eurozone — shops, restaurants and petrol stations take leks, though tourist spots may accept euros at a poor conversion.
How much is 1,000 leks in PLN?+
The calculator and table on this page show the current value of 1,000 ALL in PLN — the same buy and sell rate applies at the counter. We update the ALL/PLN rate continuously.
Is it better to exchange leks in Poland or in Albania?+
It's worth having leks on arrival — for the airport taxi, small purchases or tips. Exchange offices at Tirana airport and in resorts often have poor rates. With us you know the rate upfront and can lock it for 60 minutes.
Can I sell leks after returning from Albania?+
Yes, we buy ALL banknotes. Coins (qindarka) are not accepted at the table rate — the cashier decides on site. Cash only.
What's today's Albanian lek exchange rate?+
You'll find the current ALL/PLN rate in the calculator above, updated continuously. Buy and sell rates can shift during the day depending on market movements.
Where's the best place to exchange leks for złoty?+
At Valuta.com.pl you exchange leks with no commission or hidden fees, at either our Warsaw or Kraków branch.
Can I order a Albanian lek exchange online?+
Yes. Submit your order on our website and the rate will be locked for you for 60 minutes.
How do I exchange a larger amount (from the equivalent of EUR 15,000)?+
Transactions above this amount are handled in line with AML regulations — contact us in advance by phone or submit an online order.
What Albanian lek banknotes do you accept?+
We accept Albanian lek banknotes in any condition — the cashier assesses each note on site and may adjust the valuation individually for heavily worn or damaged notes.
Do I need ID to exchange leks?+
Below the equivalent of EUR 15,000 — no. From that threshold up, under AML regulations, we'll ask for a national ID card or passport.
Do you charge commission for exchanging leks?+
No — the rate you see is the final rate, with no additional fees.
Walk-in exchange office or online exchange — which is better for leks?+
An online-only exchange service requires a bank transfer, so you wait 1–3 business days. With us you combine a rate locked online with same-day cash pickup.
